We see K-Middy being a fan
More big news for brides-to-be, not only has Whistles just launched a wedding dress collection, but now our favourite bridalwear designer Jenny Packham is collaborating with Goldsmiths to create a new jewellery collection meaning there's even more Pinterest-worthy options for your big day.
The designer, famous for a celebrity fan list which includes Kate Middleton and Angelina Jolie, has designed three suites inspired by both some of the biggest stars in Hollywood history and some of the most famous stars in the night sky.
Each capsule collection features a complementary engagement ring, earrings and a necklace — ideal for the indecisive fiancé.
All three collections — Gloria, Aurora and Étoile — have different influences.
Aurora is inspired by the the golden age of cinema and the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights, to you and me) with a celestial scene depicted in diamonds. It’s a classic design, with a big diamond haloed with more diamonds.
The idea for the Gloria collection came from iconic Hollywood actress Gloria Swanson, known best for her role in Sunset Boulevard. The design is square and art deco in style, making it perfect if you’re looking for an antique look and feel.
The Etoile (meaning: star in French) collection is a homage to stars in their purest form and it translates into sparkly solitaire diamond delicately set into white gold.
Jenny Packham described the collections as ‘delicate, feminine and pure’. And we couldn't agree more.
Prices range from £1,200-6,500 on Goldsmiths.
