Looking for an awesome team and place to grow, learn and create community?

West YMCA is looking for instructors for Yoga instructors open to starting new and unique classes tailored to your expertise depending on person. Possible options would be balance classes, chair specific classes, new to yoga classes.

Home location the West YMCA, plus would be able to sub and teach in all locations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides high quality, safe and motivating instruction; provides adaptations based on individual needs.
• Increases member retention by providing personalized member experiences and building positive relationships with and among members, staff, volunteers and/or guests. Creates a supportive and uplifting community environment.
• Facilitates the development of small communities, helping members to connect with other members.
• Works well independently and on a team.
• Ensures the safety of all members and guests.
• Be available to support fellow instructors by subbing where possible. Teaching is available in all 3 locations.

Position Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Yoga certification and some experience preferred.
