Position Purpose
Upholds the Credit Union’s mission of “We do the right thing one member, one employee, and one experience at a time to strengthen the communities we serve” by playing a pivotal role in supporting cash management services for current and potential business members. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Cash Management, this position focuses on servicing new and existing cash management products, fostering strong relationships with members, and maintaining comprehensive portfolios.
Essential Responsibilities
Open new depository accounts as directed by Cash Management or Commercial Officers.
Prepare, track, and maintain product agreements and setup forms necessary to establish or maintain cash management services.
Provide ongoing service and coordinate communication for members and prospects, ensuring a seamless and timely service delivery process.
Collaborate with the Cash Management and Commercial Officers to reach team goals and member needs.
Refer and cross-promote additional other credit union services to individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and government entities to other departments.
Support the delivery and maintenance of cash management services to business members such as:
Digital Banking and Cash Management Modules
Remote Deposit Capture
Merchant Services
Fraud Controls
Business Credit Cards
Sweeps and other treasury products
Assist in drafting proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Deliver exceptional member service through active listening, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving.
Contribute to marketing and promotion strategies, enhancing product visibility and engagement.
Attend relevant meetings and training sessions to stay current on policies, procedures, and regulations, including compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned to assist the cash management and support areas in completing tasks and work assignments
Necessary Experience and Qualifications
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver professional presentations and the ability to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with web-based software applications and financial platforms.
Demonstrated ability to provide world-class member service and resolve issues promptly.
Working knowledge of:
NACHA rules and FFIEC guidelines
Credit union regulations and cash management products/services
Legal and cash management agreements
Behavioral Attributes:

Professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and personal member information.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial institution (credit union or bank).
Previous experience working with businesses, nonprofits, and public fund organizations is highly desirable.
Proven ability to write clear and concise reports, memos, and professional correspondence.
Solid understanding of cash management and business deposit products offered by Capital Credit Union.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Office environment with moderate level of noise
Frequent use of telephone, copier, computer, fax machine and other office machines
Prolonged sitting or standing
Frequent mental and visual concentration
May travel minimally to clients
Minimal lifting of up to 25 pounds
