PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The primary purpose of the Service Business Development Consultant (BDC) is to drive growth and increase profitability for the service department by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating leads, and ensuring exceptional service experiences. The BDC plays a key role in managing customer communications, following up on service appointments, and converting inquiries into scheduled service visits. By leveraging customer data, the BDC enhances customer retention and satisfaction, promoting the dealership's service offerings while collaborating with the service team to meet performance goals and drive business success.

Service Business Development Consultant primarily work in an office environment within a dealership, often at a desk with phone and computer use as the main tools for communication. The role typically involves regular interaction with customers via phone, email, and online messaging. Consultants may be required to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays to accommodate business needs. The position is generally fast-paced, requiring strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage a high volume of calls and appointments. While the work environment is generally indoors and climate-controlled, representatives may occasionally need to collaborate with other departments and interact with the service team to coordinate customer needs. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and customer service standards is essential to success in this role.
