Job Description

Advent Talent Group is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support contract review and analysis for a range of business and commercial agreements for our non-profit client in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong contract analysis skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, template-driven environment.

Overview:

• Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
• Contract Length: 6–8 weeks, with potential to extend
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Start Date: ASAP start!
• Hourly Rate: $45-60/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business and commercial contracts as directed by the Sr. Director.
• Summarize key terms, obligations, and risks; document any gaps or areas of concern.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on findings from contract reviews.
• Utilize standardized templates for consistency in reporting and documentation.
• Assist in the review of grants, awards, and partnership agreements (healthcare experience a plus, but not required).
• Categorize contracts and track variations across agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, including procurement and legal teams.
• Ensure work aligns with scope, timelines, and process expectations.

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to read and interpret complex contract language.
• Experience conducting gap analysis beyond surface-level review.
• Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with internal stakeholders.
• General industry awareness across various functions such as: Technology, Real, Estate, Legal, Human Resources, Contingent Labor, Clinical Trials/Study Contracts, or Procurement and Business Development
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
