Responsibilities

•Work in synergy with our ISAs and real estate agents, educating them on available loan programs
•Deliver swift, competent responses to our in-house Realtor and builder referrals
•Follow up promptly on inbound leads and collaborate with our ISAs and agents on each lead
•Make full use of our company-provided CRM system, ensuring it remains updated
•Engage with applicants promptly, providing insightful, consultative mortgage options
•Review rates, costs, and program options and keep all stakeholders informed of transaction status
•Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
•Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
•Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
•Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
•Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions

Qualifications

•NMLS #, Licensed loan officer
•Proven history of originating purchase loans
•Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mortgage originator
•Willingness to use video conferencing daily
•A college degree is strongly preferred
•Proficient technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.)
•Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License
•Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies
•Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking, real estate, or a related field
•Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
•Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
