Position – Laser Technician I
Job Location – Somerset, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – Multiple Shifts Available
2nd Shift (3:30pm-1:30am, Mon-Thurs)
3rd Shift (9:30pm-8am, Mon-Thurs)
Weekend Days *8am-8pm, Fri-Sun)
Weekend Nights (8pm-8am, Fri-Sun)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $21-25/hour plus shift differential

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required, 2-year technical degree preferred
Required Experience – 1-3 years of industrial experience, 1-3 years of technical experience preferred
While working as a Laser Technician, you will set up and run laser systems to process customer parts/product, assuring maximum safety and efficiency. You will also inspect parts to verify conformance to customer specifications.

Qualifications
High school education or GED required. 2-year technical degree preferred.
Computer skills i.e., Microsoft Office experience, CAD use/knowledge is a plus.
Strong math aptitude.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Working in an industrial environment.
Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time (2-4 hours before a rest or change).
Occasional squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending.
Constant hand use, grasping, and fine manipulation throughout the day.
Lift 40 pounds comfortably and regularly.
Lifting 51+ pounds sporadically throughout the day; done with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of industrial experience.
Able to safely drive a forklift.
Excellent eyesight with ability to distinguish colors and excellent hearing.
