Job Summary: The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating research projects from inception to completion, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Job Description: Responsibilities: - Coordinate multiple research projects, including monitoring study timelines and progress towards deliverables.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with principal investigators and research team members.
- Work with study PIs and the Director of Operations to monitor and monitor study budgets and reconcile expenses.
- Supports the development and submission of grants including preparing grant budgets, gathering supporting documents, and coordinating submissions with the grants office.
- Schedule and facilitate regular project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and submission of grant and evaluation reports.
- Coordinate the development, submission, amendments and expiration dates of IRBs for the Community Action Team.
- Develop and execute collaborative technology solutions for managing research projects (Box, Asana, Teams, OneNote).
- Maintain project documentation and records such as time and effort reporting and financial documents for audit and reporting purposes
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment conducive to high performance and innovation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the research team.
- Participates as a member of the research team and attends relevant project meetings.
- Maintains research professionalism and exercises good judgement when handling sensitive data.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., science, healthcare, business administration) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (at least 2 years if Master's, at least 4 if Bachelor's) in project management, preferably in a research or academic setting.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies and processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
