Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26 ft Box truck
- Load and unload furniture using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and DOT specifications and regulations while driving
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license (CDL NOT REQUIRED)
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
