Apex Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center is a rapidly growing skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, have treasury management, accounts payable & payroll experience. The position is integral to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting activities and to maintain a sound financial control environment. This position reports directly to the Controller.

This is a Fulltime - Salaried position. The position requires legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Essential Functions:

· Oversee all functions of treasury management including banking relationships, administration of users, bank reconciliations and maintaining account balances.

· Assist with audits, taxes and compliance requirements.

· Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

· Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts

· Payroll reconciliation, review & entry into General Ledger system

· Reviews, processes and posts accounts payable entries

· Maintains internal control policies and procedures

· Accounts Payable, coding, entry & reconciliation

Preferred/Required:

· Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

· 5+ years of accounting experience

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation

· Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

· Healthcare experience preferred

· Proficiency in accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

· Experience with Sage ERP a plus

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills

· Strong problem-solving skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines a must

· Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

· Ability to abide by ethical guidelines and policies, including strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines

· Understanding of business principles and practices

· Familiarity with financial and tax regulations

· Willingness to continue education and training relevant to the role
