Job Description
Overview The Digital Media Specialist designs and develops a variety of digital media ranging from podcast to video that will be utilized to support MFA Oil employee development and other company-wide projects. Responsibilities include production of high-quality digital media materials for all divisions of MFA Oil Company and supporting employee development projects via reviewing course copy, developing scripts, capturing video and audio, and graphic design.

Responsibilities - Produce digital media (podcasts, video, audio, photo, graphic) for assigned projects
- Create, record, and edit digital media for online transmission; ensure media perform as expected, resolving any issues
- Source all relevant resources, including equipment, content, and guests
- Conceptualize, create, and prepare media of different styles that support all divisions of MFA Oil Company
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ideate on digital asset creations and identify opportunities to incorporate multimedia and video components
- Attend corporate meetings, training, and events to capture photographs and video recordings
- Provide copy editing support for learning team peer(s) as part of eLearning course development
- Produce graphic design materials leveraged for variety of projects across the company
- Design visually impactful and memorable digital experiences that drive employee learning and engagement
- Contribute to the learning management system (LMS) with videos, courses, and other training tools
- Meet regularly with division managers to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training for employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies and develop the training materials requested
- Develop project scripts by researching topics and/or identifying subject matter expert resources for assigned projects
- Proactively review and update previously created training materials to ensure they are current and meet the needs of internal clients
- Perform evaluation and analysis of projects to inform future project development
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the latest digital communication software, design technology, and digital media trends
- Frequently communicate the progress of projects, processes, and tools with learning development manager, learning/training team, and stakeholders
- Follow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked

Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, videography/photography, communication, graphic design, multimedia, or related field OR 4 years of previous work experience in digital media production
- Demonstrated experience in the following: videography, motion graphics, graphic design, illustration, UI/UX, etc.
- Experience with graphic and web production tools including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with video/audio equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong eye for visual and professional appeal, imparting creativity to build engaging materials
- Ability to act independently to achieve needed results
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new and complex ideas, relay those concepts to others, and apply appropriately
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- Valid driver's license
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Skills - Experience in both Mac/PC environments
- Navigates ambiguity and changing priorities successfully
