Golden Globes 2017: The Winners Are In

La La Land looks set to clean up at the Golden Globes…

The Golden Globes 2017 winners are in and as we all expected Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling's musical rom com La La Land’ stormed the awards taking home Best Actor, Musical Or Comedy, Best Actress, Musical Or Comedy and Best Original Song to name just a few.

In comparison, previously in second place for the most nominations was Moonlight, a drama about a gay black man at three different stages of his life as he grows up in a rough neighbourhood in Miami, starring Mahershala Ali (who plays Remy Danton in House of Cards) and Naomie Harris which took home just one of its six awards, although that was for Best Film Drama, so not a bad one to nail!

The TV categories were led by The Night Manager with three wins of its four nominations followed by The People v OJ Simpson with two wins out of its five nominations.

All our small screen favourites seem to have nods this year, including Stranger Things, Westworld, The Night Of and The Crown.

Whilst Manchester by the Sea, a total mascara-destroying drama with Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams, (who worked an immaculate lace Louis Vuitton number on the red carpet) took home a cheeky award for Best Actor, Drama.

But less about the nominations, here's every Golden Globes 2017 winner you need to know about:
