While the former TOWIE star has insisted she is trying to "remain positive", she has been battling with some exhausting side effects of being pregnant.

Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine, Ferne said she has been experiencing nausea and extreme tiredness, resulting in her needing to take a nap every day.

"At first I had nausea, morning sickness, and was eating carbs to get rid of that feeling. I just wanted bread, cheese, pizza and biscuits. At around 12 weeks this turned into evening sickness," she said.

"I was tired, I had to take naps in the day, which is so unlike me. The worst thing were the headaches that were almost like migraines. They would only go if I vomited. Apparently they’re really common," Ferne added.

"It’s just your body reacting to your hormones running wilds. I also feel like my baby is using my bladder as a squeeze toy. I want to wee all the time!"

Also in the exclusive chat, Ferne admitted she is convinced she is having a baby boy, despite not wanting to find out the sex of her child.

"I’m not finding out. I want it to be a surprise. It doesn’t matter as long as the baby is healthy. Although I’m adamant I’m having a boy. I read up online about all the symptoms," she said.

"One boob is supposed to get bigger than the other. I can’t remember which one," Ferne added, while looking down her top. "Also you sleep on your left, which I’ve been doing."

Nevertheless, Ferne won’t be surprised if she welcomes a baby girl, as she has been craving sugary foods – something which is meant to be a sign of expecting a girl.

She explained: "[I’m craving] frankfurters and fizzy sweets. Apparently fizzy sweets indicate that you’re having a girl. Every night I’m eating a bag of giant chocolate buttons and I could just eat some frankfurters and mustard now."

However, on a recent episode of This Morning Ferne was told she was having a baby boy, when she went backstage to meet Britain’s Got Talent finalists DNA – a mind-reading duo.

The 26 year old said: "I'm not finding out what I'm going to have, whether it's a girl of a boy. Can you read my bump and see what I'm going to have?"

Andrew, 43, placed his hand on Ferne's blossoming stomach to do the reading, proudly revealing: "It's a boy!", as Ferne gasped.
